KCS Recruitment is currently urgently seeking for an Operational Team Leader to join the team of one of its clients, specialising in the packing, distribution & cold storage of different Products in Wiri, Auckland.

 

The Role:

The main focus on the role will be

·         Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facilities

·         Supervising the team and be responsible for the efficient utilisation of the staff

·         Someone who has the passion for people and process as well as a leadership style which engages the team to deliver and meet the target of product movement s on a daily basis.

·         Working closely with the Operations supervisor to ensure that the teams members have “hand on”, committed, Involved and contributed to the workplace as well as the targets are met.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person , with the warehousing experiences, to join the growing cold storage company as – Starting immediately and Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Duties & Responsibilties

In this role, you will be responsible for:

·         People Leadership and Management

·         Ensuring operational targets and quality standards are met daily within specific time frames

             Leading continuous improvement activities

Ensure that all KPI targets are met

Follow all H & S regulations

Conducting Tool box meetings

Booking fo transport containers and trucks for pick up and delivery

Skills & Experience

Desirable

·         Experience in Warehousing

·         Physically fit

·         Great planner and problem Solver

·         Inventory bar code scanning experience.

·         Counterbalance and/or Reach Driving Licence
